Our Story

The story of Calvary Faith Center is actually the story of two churches; Calvary Faith Center and Solid Rock Assembly of God. These two churches had their beginnings at different times, under different leadership, under different denominations yet with one single destiny; to be together.

Calvary is a church with a heart for families, our community with a desire to make a difference. In 2008 we added new ministries (Men of Faith, Women of Faith, Calvarykids, and Oneightyouth) to reach the families of Eastern Raleigh, Wendell, Zebulon, Knightdale, Clayton and beyond.

Within just months of our churches merging we have grown by 300%. We are weekly seeing new families, couples and individuals being added and people turning their lives over to Jesus. We look forward with expectancy of even more!

Our church has experienced an opportunity of a lifetime; a second chance. Maybe you could use a second chance, maybe a new beginning. There is no better time then now to make a fresh start. And Calvary is a great place to grow and be encouraged.
